Online Employment Systems (OES) and The Joint Council for International Children’s Services The Joint Council for International Children’s Services (JCICS) announce a joint program to offer as a Member Benefit, the OES Compliance Mark product to JCICS members.

OES Compliance Mark electronically verifies that staff members have read what they are supposed to, enabling adoption agencies to meet the new accreditation requirements, while also reducing labor and printing costs. Many agencies are challenged, even with the best intentions to have their staff read and learn required HR and regulatory policies and updates. Because of the sheer volume and the inefficient manual delivery and verification processes that are in place, agency management is challenged in verifying compliance.

OES is partnering with the American Staffing Association to use Compliance Mark as the online delivery mechanism for the study guides used by the Certified Staffing Professional™ and the Technical Services Certified™ programs. The Certified Staffing Professional program offers a professional credential through completion of an in-depth, self-study course, and an exam of labor and employment law principles and ethical practices applicable to the staffing industry. The goal is to advance industry-wide current competency standards through a uniform national program. Individuals who pass the exam will be eligible to use the CSP designation after their names.

Online Self-Study Course:

The CSP program includes an online study guide and a self-guided review of key topics in labor and employment law. The online study tool provides you with easy accessibility for those few but precious free moments you might have to spend a bit of time reviewing questions and confirming answers, and will also provide you with an electronic study experience to help prepare you for the online CSP exam.

By using the online study guide, you can review the study questions, select your answers and be directed to where in the study materials you can find sections to help clarify the correct answers. You can also take a timed mock exam, repeatedly, as you prepare for the true CSP online exam.

Familiarizing yourself with e-learning tools is part of the process in becoming comfortable with on-line learning, and preparing yourself for the CSP timed exam.
